Mixedcandy is currently closed for new commissions. If you are interested in a new commission check later this year (when the order sheet is back online). We should be opening back up for new commissions end of 2009.

If you are looking for a quote wait until we post up the early quote sheet a few days before we open for new commissions. We will not be providing quotes, until later in the year.

This is all a process to make it easier for you the new customers to get a costume from us. We want to eliminate the year to year plus wait down to no more than 8 months.

So Mixedcandy will be going through some big changes.

March 28th /09

Been very busy start of this year with conventions and getting a lot of costumes done. We are constantly updating the gallery so if you are interested in seeing what we have created check the gallery. Went to FC (convention) in California this January to show off some costumes. We had a fantastic time and were able to see the sights as well. This March we went to Atlanta and tried for the first time to set up a table and sell at the convention, as we tend to just relax at conventions. It was a very different experience but we did enjoy it.

A lot of costumes are currently being worked on and will continue to be worked on all this year. We are still taking commissions (for 2010 only, please do not ask for an earlier date), but once these commissions close we will be closing until the end of the year. Our goal for doing so is to create a shorter waiting period when you get a costume from us. We want to keep the waiting periods no more than 8 months, but we shall see how that turns out come end of the year.

If you have emailed us via the order sheet please give us up to a full week before emailing us again asking if we received it or not. We are very busy and trying to catch up with all the emails we are behind on. If it is an emergency you can always call.

The order sheet acts as a quote sheet. Take in mind filling the sheet does not mean you are automatically added to our list. You are considered into the list of costume we might want to take. So if you are just looking for a quote you can fill the sheet if you wanted to. Do take in mind quotes are only valid for 30 days.

Please read what sort of artwork we need from you to be able to quote you. We are going through countless emails that contain the wrong art. I am emailing most of you informing you that you will need 3 view concept art. Do understand the better the art the better the costume will come out in the end.
